News travels fast
these days. But I have to say, rumors definitely travel faster.
There was this
text message going around about a tidal wave in Ozamis, and as much as I am
traumatized by the Sendong (Washi) experience, it really doesn't help ease our problems
whenever we her about nature troubles.
It's not that I
don't want to discredit the spread of news through text message, but most of
the useless and uneccessary gossips goes around our phones nowadays and it
annoys the hell out of most people. I hope people would think more about the
effects of the words they put into text writing.
I am currently
having a hard time trying to sleep after hearing such a troubling
"news". *sigh
I hope the people
are all alright tonight, and tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow, and until
their time is up.
